The kids had great fun last Sunday at the Eco Kids Summer Camp in The Center of HOPE Worldwide. The place is not some treatment centers but yeah it could look like one. It's a safe haven for the abused children. There are play grounds, a kiddie pool (though they didn't use it this time), a basketball court, big fields where kids can run around or play outdoor games like soccer, a day care and library. So imagine the fun my kids had.
But in their summer camp, they didn't just had fun playing, my kids learned about their environment as well. The next day, Zach was telling me he wants to plant in our garden. Yes, I have plants to transport to the other flower bed. But our garden needs some weeding first. Hehe!
He demonstrated the "Seed Exercise" to me. That'll be up next. And then they refreshed my memory about the story of "The Giving Tree."
Here's some of their photos before the program started as we needed to go to the gazebo for our worship service.
My kids were so proud to receive the certificate saying, "You are now a certified Eco-friendly kid!"

The place is quite far but yes, it's a nice place indeed.
Thanks for the time! : )
