Picnic Grove, Tagaytay, Still Recommended

Last month, my in-laws took us to Picnic Grove in Tagaytay. I still recommend Picnic Grove especially if you have kids who love to run in open grounds. The horsebackriding and skating rink are still there. Plus, they have the new zip line and cable car rides. The two older kids- my son and his cousin want to go horseback-riding and try the zip line. But we didn't go as we didn't have the more adventurous members of the family that time to go with them. We just braved to walk through the hanging bridge.

By the way, if you want a foot spa, soak your feet in the pool and the tiny fish will do their job.

And of course the breath taking view of the Taal makes the trip complete. Picnic Grove is still a perfect venue for family picnics and gatherings. There were also lovey doves dating or friends catching-up while barbecuing. It's also a very apt venue for pre-nups or if you just want a new photo for your profile pic.

With just two hours travel from Manila, it's a great way to escape from your daily routine. Or a nearer (and cheaper) alternative to Baguio to beat the summer heat. Note: Don't forget your sweatshirts and jackets.

Entrance fee: kids P25, adults P50
Cottages: P150 to 400
