Just Beautiful: Smiles

This is Zach, my firstborn, Jill, my friends' dawty, and Winter, my youngest. This was in Tagaytay three weeks ago.

Just love their smiles here. They're riding on a lion mural in RSM. The lion doesn't move but they seem to have really enjoyed riding on it especially Zach.

MM: Father's Day 2011

”mommyIn church last Sunday, the dads were asked to stand up and be given honor for Father's day. Sorry for the quality of the pics as I'm using only a camera phone.

Dad's reading the card given by our son Zach.

Dad and the two boys.

Showing off the clay that they made at the child care

Dad is opening the simple gift from the (church) kids. taadaahhh! a hanky!

We love you Honey! You definitely deserve much more than these :D

I know why it's Mother's Day in May and Father's Day in June. It's because these are the most tedious months for our pockets due to school enrollments. I'd really be glad if it would be moved to other months. hehehe :D

How's Your First Week Of School Going?

I'm still adjusting to our new schedule. I'm finding it hard to wake up at 5AM.

If you're enrolled in online universities this won't be a problem. You can go to school, in front of the computer that is, at your own convenient time. And when you find it necessary. But my kid is still in grade 1. heck! The school service arrives at 6:30 coz they should be at the flag ceremony at 7:15AM. It's easy to awaken my son but the problem is still his eating. He needs to be told to chew his food and to chew it fast. One hour is alloted for his breakfast.

When I was still a student myself, I love schooling but I hated the thought of preparing and travelling to school. I hated the rush hour. But I had to do it anyway. And I was oftentimes late for school. Bad! I hope my son wouldn't feel like I did. Now I thought people today are lucky that they can finish a degree online. There's a Guide To Online Schools, if you're interested.

After my son leaves for school in the morning, it's good that I can rest a little. And then I'd go by my chores which are obviously waiting for me.

My blogging have been taking a back seat. As you can see, my last post was still last week. Last night, I planned to blog hop and do a task. But after cooking, dinner, plastic covering some stuff and doing assignments, I was tired and sleepy already. Maybe because I wasn't able to take an afternoon nap even if I tried to have one. I haven't really figured out how to put blogging in my schedule. Glad I was able to squeeze this post in.

I believe things will get better soon *smile*

My Kids' Pets

A dragonfly was flying around our house when we wake up one morning. Glad I was able to take a shot of it before Gabe accidentally let it go. The dragonfly didn't eat the piece of bread but it chewed on the ant that Zach caught. (click to enlarge)

This is crabby, a hermit crab. A friend of my son gave it to him after he lost the three crabs that daddy bought for him from our visit to Alaminos, Laguna.
Hermit crabs transfer to a different shell that it'll fit into when it becomes bigger. So I don't know until when crabby will live. Don't know if it eats the small ants that Zach catch for it. I'm actually surprised that it lasted as of writing.

What's your kid's pet?

Birthdays At The Big Red Barn, Fun Ranch and Active Play

Sorry for the late link up! Lucky, the school hasn't started yet coz it's been a very hectic weekend. Got time to rest a little. Yey! Plus the internet is again intermittent because of the long heavy rains.

Last Saturday we attended a double birthday celebration at the The Big Red Barn/ Fun Ranch/ Active Play in West Gate Alabang.

The birthday boys with Nap the Clown and the moving statue. Kenneth (4yrs. old), my cousin, is the uncle of Aldric (5yrs. old), my nephew from a cousin. Are you confused already?

One of the birds that Dante the Magician got from nowhere

I love the fried chicken and the honey-glazed pork from The Big Red Barn.

It's like a reunion since the birthday family have vacations here only every 2 yrs. I guess the daddies didn't want to show their bulging bellies so there's not much photo with them. hehe :D

Huge play places are always loved by the kids. Find Gabe.

Not in the picture is the unlimited cotton candy :D

Bubble Fun!

It's school time already on Monday. Goodbye summer vacation!
So before they hit school, I want to make the remaining three days fun for the two cools (kulets).
This morning I let them get out of the house with their twist car and they played in the playground.
Then I let them blow and pop bubbles. Some bubbles are mixed with Winter's spit hehe :D Playing bubbles is a little bit messy. So I don't let them do this often. They missed it and so they had huge fun!
Tomorrow we are invited to a nephew's birthday party. So I'm looking forward for another fun day.
So, what do you plan to do before the school hits?
