Kept Me Hanging

I've finished season one of Pushing Daisies and now it kept me hanging. Needed to visit a Home Improvement Blog to keep me away from thinking about pushing the next season of pushing daisies. I've yet to borrow season 2 dvd from MIL.

Ned (Lee Pace) discovered his gift when his dog Digby was hit by a truck and died. He touched the dog and immediately brought him back to life. He brought back his mother to life but also died that evening when she kissed him. One touch he brings back life, the next touch dead again forever.

37 years later, when he's already a great pie maker, his childhood sweetheart Chuck (Anna Friel) had a mysterious death. He touched her back to life and wanted to kiss her which is also what Chuck wanted for him to do but he didn't want to. He can't touch her again or she'll be dead forever. At the same time, he's extremely anxious about contemplating if he'll ever tell Chuck that he (indirectly) killed her father in exchange of his mother's life.

Between solving crimes and murders, Ned and Chuck found ways to hold each other wearing bee suites without the latter dying. This series is for the hopeless romantic...like me.
