Hand Molding With Clay

My son has been wanting to play with clay. No time to go to National Bookstore so I told him to just look for clay while we shop around the grocery store. And he found this.
It smells like soap :) and so elastic.
I molded their hands in clay and air dried the mold. Here's how I did it.
1. Knead the clay in a ball.
2. Choose a square mold and put a plastic.

3. Flatten the clay into the square mold. For better results, smoothen the clay by kneading your fingers back and forth on rough parts.
4. Put your hand on top of the clay and press it in until you see the shape.
5. Nice right! Then I realized I can't completely get the clay out of the square mold so be sure to do step number 2.
This was my youngest son's hand mold after air drying.
