No TV And Internet Day

Now, we have more tv channels than we could watch in a day when we switched to a new cable and internet connection. (That's why I could visit your blogs more often too.) The kids will be glued to the tv all day if I don't make them do other activities and the daddy and I to the Internet.

Our previous satellite tv is prepaid. No pay no watch. So if our budget doesn't permit, there were times when we can't watch tv. But I appreciate our family times when there's no available tv channels for us.

That's why I want to assign an "Offline Day." This day will be designated for more productive family bonding time like playing puzzle games, doing artworks, reading books, going to parks, talking and tickling each other or even exercising together.

Also, this is a way of in tilling discipline that there's a time for every activity. And the self- control of not switching the tv or going to the computer even if these gadgets are just there. There's more source of happiness and entertainment thats even productive than just the tv or Internet.

The daddy approved already. I'm just choosing between Sunday, Tuesday, or Wednesday.

How about you, how's your tv watching lately?
